References to "Difference Coffee", "we", "us" or "our" mean Difference Coffee Limited. "You" means the person using this website or placing an order.

1. Your order and our contract

(a) Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline any order at our discretion; if we do, we will tell you promptly and refund any payment in full.

(b) All prices include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. If we discover a genuine pricing error in an order you have placed, we will contact you to reconfirm the order at the correct price or cancel it with a full refund.

(c) Products remain our property until paid for in full. Responsibility for the products passes to you on delivery.

(d) We may withdraw products from sale at any time.

2. Delivery

Delivery times and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. If we cannot deliver within the estimated time we will let you know. If a delivery fails because the address you gave us was incorrect or incomplete, we may charge the actual cost of re-delivery.

3. Your right to cancel (consumers)

(a) As a UK or EU consumer buying at a distance you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Because our coffee is a foodstuff, this statutory right does not apply to capsule boxes that have been unsealed or opened, for hygiene and freshness reasons.

(b) Our own guarantee is broader than the statutory minimum: see our Returns and Refunds Policy for our 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

(c) To cancel, email orders@differencecoffee.com with your order number. We will refund you within 14 days of cancellation using your original payment method.

(d) Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of products that are faulty or not as described.

4. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically at the frequency you select and are charged to your saved payment method before each delivery. You can cancel or change your subscription at any time from your account or from the link in your order confirmation email; cancellation takes effect immediately and no further payments will be taken. Full details are in our Subscription Policy.

5. Accounts and website use

(a) You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe are being misused.

(b) This website and its content (design, text, photography, graphics) are owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for personal use only; commercial use of any content requires our written permission.

(c) We may update the website and these terms at any time. Changes to these terms apply to orders placed after the change is published.

(d) We do not guarantee the website will be available uninterrupted, and content on the website is provided for general information.

6. Our liability

(a) Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law, and nothing reduces your statutory rights as a consumer.

(b) We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses; the website and products are supplied for private, domestic use.

(c) Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order, except where clause 6(a) applies.

7. Complaints and governing law

If something goes wrong, contact us at orders@differencecoffee.com and we will do our best to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there, and you keep the protection of the consumer laws of the country you live in.
