Great British Brands 2026 cover beside Amir Gehl's line: our mission is to bring the rarest, most delicious coffees to discerning aficionados worldwide

COUNTRY & TOWN HOUSE:

A Great British Brand for 2026

Difference Coffee returns to Country & Town House's Great British Brands for a third year, with a two-page profile in the 2026 edition.

For a third year running, Difference Coffee features in Country & Town House's Great British Brands, with a two-page profile in the 2026 edition.

Written in Amir Gehl's own words, the profile opens with the mission behind the company: "to bring the rarest, most delicious coffees in capsule form to discerning aficionados worldwide." It describes how the coffees are sourced through competitions such as Cup of Excellence, Best of Panama and the annual Kona Cupping competition, from small, often family-run farms, and why paying those farmers properly matters. It also recalls champagne authority Tom Stevenson's verdict that Difference Coffee is in a completely different class, and names the three Michelin-starred Piazza Duomo in Alba and Hotel Principe in Forte dei Marmi among the places serving it.

The profile closes with Amir's advice on how to be a 21st century brand: be authentic, be transparent, and act responsibly.
