A creamy and balanced cup with gentle acidity and full rich taste. Notes of dark cocoa beans mixed with macadamia nuts. Chocolate Truffle in a cup.
For me, Jamaica Blue Mountain embodies the perfect balance of aromas and intensity that one would expect when tasting such a creamy coffee. The intense aromas of hazelnut and caramel find a balance with a slightly citrusy finish that make this selection a pamper for the senses and the palate.

Jamaica’s Blue Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscape of verdant and misty peaks, has an unmatched heritage in the coffee world. The coffee that thrives in this glorious part of the Caribbean has been celebrated for centuries for its mellow, chocolatey flavour. Smooth and beautifully balanced, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee consistently ranks among the best (and priciest) in the world.
Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is strictly regulated, yet not all coffee marketed as Jamaica Blue Mountain is, in fact, the real deal. Many are blends that include only a fraction of genuine Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee; others confuse buyers with lower-grade “Jamaica Supreme” beans.
Rest assured, Difference Coffee sources its Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee from Sir John's Peak, an exclusive nano-lot at Wallenford estate – a legendary farm.
100% genuine Blue Mountain coffee rated as Grade 1 (meaning the biggest and best beans available at size 17) by the Jamaican Coffee Board is very good quality, but not quite good enough for us. We insisted on beans of size 19 and higher, with zero defects – and for these to be exclusive to us. The estate provides Difference Coffee with just five to ten barrels a year. For us, quality is far more important than quantity.
