Champagne authority Tom Stevenson on why he swapped standard Nespresso pods for Difference Coffee.
World of Fine Wine, one of the most respected publications in wine, featured Difference Coffee in October 2023 in a piece by Tom Stevenson, the world's foremost authority on Champagne, titled "Making a difference".
Stevenson's starting point is the machine he loves and the pods he does not: he finds standard Nespresso capsules bland, particularly the robusta blends, while praising the convenience and consistency of the system itself. His solution is Difference Coffee, whose pods he recommends as 100% arabica from top graded, single estate sources, bringing wine grade provenance to the capsule format.
