Robb Report featured Difference Coffee in its Robb Recommends series, in a piece by Jeremy Repanich titled "The Nespresso Pods That Even Coffee Snobs Will Love".

Repanich, a self-confessed coffee snob with the burr grinder and scale to prove it, explains how founder Amir Gehl took the opposite path to most capsule brands: rather than competing with Nespresso on price, he puts competition winning beans from around the world into pods, flushed with nitrogen to stop the coffee oxidising. Repanich tasted the Panama Geisha, noting its fruity, floral acidity came through, and the Jamaica Blue Mountain, which he found chocolatey with softened acidity. His verdict: "I can finally sate my snobbery in a capsule".
