JAMESEDITION:

JamesEdition on the World's Rarest Coffee in Capsules

The global luxury marketplace surveys the Difference Coffee range, from Hawaii Kona to Esmeralda Geisha, and the Michelin kitchens cooking with it.

JamesEdition, the global marketplace for luxury property, cars and collectibles, featured Difference Coffee in May 2022 in an editorial on the world's rarest coffee, now available in limited edition Nespresso compatible capsules.

The piece tours the range and its sourcing: beans from single estate producers in Guatemala, Jamaica, Panama, Hawaii and Indonesia, auction lots from the Cup of Excellence and Best of Panama competitions, and a Hawaii Kona that won first place at the 2021 Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, which JamesEdition calls "uber-desirable coffee". It records the client list, more than 100 Michelin starred restaurants alongside hotels including the Dorchester Collection, Mandarin Oriental Milan, Four Seasons Bahrain Bay, Gstaad Palace and Velaa Private Island, and the chefs cooking with the capsules: Danilo Cortellini's Hawaii Kona braised beef cheek croquettes at the Italian Embassy in London, and Asimakis Chaniotis's crème brûlée. Chefs from Hans Neuner to Antonio Guida pick their favourites from the line up, from the Jamaica Blue Mountain nano-lot at Sir John's Peak to the Esmeralda Geisha.
