Difference Coffee Joins Walpole

Walpole, the official sector body for British luxury whose members include the country's most storied houses, welcomed Difference Coffee as a full member in March 2024, marking the occasion with a founder interview by Harriet Gilbert Savage.

The membership followed Difference Coffee's selection for Walpole's Brands of Tomorrow programme in 2023, when it was named among the twelve emerging British luxury brands of the year. The interview covers the mission of making the world's rarest top grade coffees accessible, the company's approach to ethical and sustainable sourcing, and its expansion into luxury hotels and corporate retail.

Walpole had already put the coffee to work the previous summer, publishing four of Amir's coffee cocktail recipes built on the Hawaii Kona, Wild Kopi Luwak, Esmeralda Geisha and Nicaragua Cup of Excellence Champion capsules.
