Caterer, Licensee & Hotelier News: Customers Return for Speciality Coffee

In Caterer, Licensee & Hotelier News, Amir Gehl explains why speciality coffee in capsules gives restaurants and hotels a reason for guests to return.

In November 2016, the hospitality trade title Caterer, Licensee & Hotelier News ran a question-and-answer piece by Amir Gehl, founder of Difference Coffee, in its Beverage Systems and Supplies pages under the headline Customers Return for Speciality Coffee.

Amir described the idea behind Difference Coffee: sourcing "the world's finest coffees, equivalent to first-growth wines", offered either as whole beans or in capsules compatible with a regular Nespresso machine. He explained that capsules ensure freshness and a consistent cup without the need for expensive equipment or training, and that every coffee is speciality grade, a term for coffees scoring 80 points or more on the 100-point scale.

For operators, his message was simple: with Difference, restaurateurs can offer a coffee menu, so that diners end their meal with a memorable cup and a reason to come back.
