WIRED recommended Difference Coffee Pods, describing them as the chance to taste "some of the finest (and rarest) coffee varieties on the planet".

The magazine, hard to impress when it comes to single use coffee pods, summed up the approach simply: Difference Coffee buys small amounts of coffee from the winners of the world's most prestigious coffee competitions and creates Nespresso compatible pods with it. The coffee shown was the Twumba, a 100 per cent Bourbon Arabica that won the highest scores at the Cup of Excellence, so specialist that only 1.2 kilograms of it existed. WIRED's one piece of advice: don't add milk.
