WALPOLE:
Walpole Names Amir Gehl in Its Power List 2026
The official body for British luxury names the Difference Coffee founder among 50 people shaping the sector in the year ahead.
Walpole, the official sector body for the UK's £81 billion luxury industry, named founder Amir Gehl in its Power List 2026, the annual list of 50 people whose work is expected to shape British luxury over the coming year.
Honourees are nominated by peers, colleagues and the wider Walpole community, and selected by a panel of senior luxury leaders. The list spans the breadth of the sector, from chief executives to craftspeople, and Amir's entry describes Difference Coffee as "a pioneer in luxury single-estate capsules served by the world's leading Michelin-starred restaurants", crediting the close partnerships built with estates and the redefinition of capsule coffee.
The recognition follows Difference Coffee's selection for Walpole's Brands of Tomorrow programme in 2023 and its full Walpole membership from 2024.
