CHEF & RESTAURANT MAGAZINE:

Chef & Restaurant Magazine Meets Enrico Molino

Chef & Restaurant Magazine meets Enrico Molino, Difference Coffee's Global Brand Ambassador, on selling coffee to Italy.

Chef & Restaurant Magazine interviewed Enrico Molino, Difference Coffee's Global Brand Ambassador, in a feature that opens with the English expression about sending coals to Newcastle: because Enrico's job, among other things, is selling coffee to Italy.

At the time of the interview, two years into the role, Enrico was dealing with 160 clients around the world, an impressive 34 of them in Italy, boasting 37 Michelin stars between them. The piece traces his gastronomic pedigree: aged 16 he worked for the celebrated Gualtiero Marchesi, the first Italian chef awarded three Michelin stars, before moving to the UK in 2003 for ten years at Le Gavroche under the legendary Silvano Giraldin, then management roles at The Lanesborough and Claude Bosi's Bibendum. Having met Amir Gehl along the way, the two decided to make beautiful coffee together, built on buying the world's best and rarest coffees at auction, roasting and grinding them to perfection, and putting them in Nespresso compatible capsules.
