67 Pall Mall Hosts a Difference Coffee Masterclass

67 Pall Mall, the private members' club for wine lovers, hosted Difference Coffee in June 2017 for a morning event titled "but first...coffee", founder Amir Gehl's second visit to present at the club.

The listing invited members to a guided tasting over breakfast: a couple of coffees and a pastry or two, with Amir leading a masterclass on sourcing coffee, making espresso and getting the best from the bean. Fittingly for the venue, the club's listing framed the coffee in wine terms, noting that Difference Coffee sources beans from the top 1% of specialty coffee, scored on a 100 point scale much as fine wine is evaluated.
